Entrepreneur is a synonym for salesperson.
Congrats, you’ve just got a new job in sales!
You’re selling in your sales calls. You’re selling in your content. You’re selling in how you talk about yourself, your brand, your programme, your testimonials.
All of it is selling.
Most-coaches say they don’t like sales.
What happens is they just post value, they post educational content
They show up consistently, but then they hope that people would just want to work with them.
Some will spend months and years trying to find ways around selling their stuff
Instead of just becoming someone who is comfortable with the idea that if you own a business, selling your things is a fundamental part of that.
And your ideas are supposed to do that selling.
That’s the whole point of building an ideas-first business.
But it’s still selling.
You can hate how other people sell. You can refuse to be manipulative. You can build something better than anything else you’ve seen when it comes to making money.
But you can’t pretend you’re not a salesperson. And the sooner you accept it, the sooner you’ll get good at it.
