Discomfort Tolerance
The best coaches I’ve worked with have a back story where at some point business was really hard - and they prevailed. But we mistake their story for being the reason they succeeded, and we don’t think about the people who are successful without it - what they have in common is discomfort tolerance. Coaches who don’t have that back story struggle not because they didn’t struggle at the start - but because even though things are ‘ok’, they won’t tolerate the discomfort of failure enough to even bother experimenting, so they stay stuck
