The Cost Of A Team With None Of The Time

I said something to a coach I work with last week, that’s been on my mind ever since.

For context - they’ve got an insane business, with great people inside who help with the delivery, but also the admin, content and other bits and pieces.

Which is brilliant.

Except they didn’t hand much over.

So they weren’t earning any more, because they weren’t using the time they’d bought back

And they were losing money, because they were paying for it

The cost of a team, with none of the time

Now this might not be your situation

Or at least, you might not think it is.

But with the development of AI - that’s kind of the problem for everyone.

Some people don’t like using AI for various reasons.

However lots of coaches do - so the bottlenecks are one of two things;

- Not knowing how it could actually help them

- Not knowing how to instruct it to do things for them

The place to start is the same as if you were training staff.

It needs showing what to do, and how it should be done.

The solution is simple

If there’s any sort of task in your business that could be sped up or improved with AI?

(Bonus points if it’s a recurring task)

Record yourself doing it, dictate the steps or even just type out everything you do.

If there’s output involved (writing, design etc) give it as much context of what you like as possible.

It can then create a skill based on those instructions - so it can follow the same sequence each time.

It can also generate a checklist, walkthrough guide or anything else you need - if you’re giving it to someone else.

You now have SOPs for your business - which can help both you, and any support you have (human or agentic).
